The central government has sanctioned Rs 50 crore to the food park in order to give a much-needed push to agro-based industries in Andhra Pradesh.Coastal District is rich in production of mango, Guava, Banana, Coconut,Chilli,Dairy Product, tomatoes and other Vegetables. The APIIC is the nodal agency for the development of infrastructure in Mallavalli the approximate cost of the project is 150 crore.The food park has a minimum of 20-25 units.The APIIC is drawing a layout for the proposed park.The government hope that the food park will transform the lives of the local farmers drastically
